October AIDS Walk
All Saints participated in the AIDS Walk on Saturday,
October 10, with 9 Team members walking the 3 mile
route.
Team members proudly carried the All Saints banner.
Parishioners supported this event in many ways, by
monetary contributions, joining the Team on-line, and
walking in this event. The amount of funds raised is
not yet determined.
Thanks to all for supporting this important cause
that provides emergency shelter, utilities, food,
medicine and other daily living needs.
September Yard Sale
Fr. Jeff Bower, Rector at St. John's Episcopal Church
in Speedway, accepted the check for $ 1,500 from the
proceeds of the September 19 yard sale at last
Sunday's forum, led by the Outreach Committee.
These funds will be used for the food pantry at St.
John's and will benefit several families. Many thanks
to everyone in the parish that participated in so
many different ways to make the yard sale so
successful.
The remaining balance of funds from the yard sale,
approximately $ 1,500, will benefit the Operating
Fund at All Saints.
