We Believe ...
Knitting

The All Saints Knitting Ministry continues to grow—both in number of participants and projects. This year, we saw the group grow from about 6 regular attendees to more than a dozen. Prayer shawls were blessed at two services and are available for pastoral use as they are needed.

In the spirit of celebrating the church’s 100th anniversary, the group adopted the goal of knitting 100 mittens (50 pair) between November 1, 2010 and November 1, 2011.

Our progress can be seen as completed mittens are hung on the lines in the parish hall. It is anticipated that because we are already nearing that 50 pair goal, we will expand our reach to 100 pair of mittens! We will continue to produce prayer shawls and look forward to another year of fellowship and ministry.

This group is open to all who are interested whether you’re a novice knitter or very experienced. We generally meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, in the parish hall at 5:30 p.m.
