For many years now, we have participated in a sock drive during Advent to aid those in our community experiencing homelessness. Every year when I challenge our parish with a goal that seems hard to reach, we literally blow it away. Last year our goal was 10,000 pairs of socks; with the help of Holy Family and individuals outside of our parish, we more than doubled that goal! We collected 20,732 pairs of socks for the men, women, and children in central Indiana.

How can you get involved this Advent?


SOCKS: You can bring in NEW pairs of socks during the first three Sundays of Advent (December 1, 8, and 15) and/or you can sponsor a case of 120 pairs of socks for $55.

SOAP: You can donate individual bars of full-size soap in original packaging and placed inside a clear plastic bag and/or you can sponsor a case of 500 travel size bars for $55.

For financial donations, please click the link above and indicate if you want your donations to go to socks, soap, or both in the memo line. Monetary donations will be accepted through December 15th. On December 22nd, Mother Suzanne will bless the socks and soap we donate, then we will load up the socks and soap to deliver to Wheeler Mission.
